Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy describes cancellation and refund rules for court bookings, memberships, hour packs, events, and tournaments.

1 · Court bookings

  • Free cancellation: more than 24 hours before start time.
  • Late cancellation: between 6 and 24 hours before — 50% of the cost retained.
  • Less than 6 hours or no-show: no refund.
  • Cancellations are done directly in PlayByPoint or by email.

2 · Annual memberships

You can cancel your annual membership at any time by providing written notice. If you cancel within the first tenth of your membership term, a cancellation fee of up to 10% of the total contract price applies. Beyond that period, you only pay for the time elapsed. We will refund the balance of your payment within 10 days of receiving your notice.

3 · Hour packs (Access / Access+)

  • You may cancel your hour pack at any time. We will refund the balance of your unused hours within 10 days of your request.
  • If you cancel within the first tenth of your pack's duration, a cancellation fee of up to 10% of the total pack price applies.
  • Standard hours in the Access pack never expire.
  • Access pack bonus hours are promotional — use them within 12 months to maximize your value or they revert to the standard visitor rate.
  • Hour balances are linked to your account. You can use your balance to book courts for yourself and any other players.

4 · Events, leagues and tournaments

Registration for events, leagues, or tournaments may be cancelled at any time. If you cancel before the event begins or the division draw occurs, a full refund is issued. If the event has already started, we provide a prorated refund for the unused portion, minus a 10% administrative fee of the total registration cost. If the club cancels the event, you receive a full refund.

5 · Medical and exceptional circumstances

If a documented injury or medical condition prevents you from playing, you are entitled to a prorated refund for the unused portion of your membership or pack. Contact us with a medical note and we will process your refund within 10 days.

6 · Refund method

All refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe. We process and issue your refund within 10 days of receiving your written cancellation notice. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the amount to appear on your statement.

7 · How to proceed

To cancel, use the options in PlayByPoint or email info@pickleball101montreal.ca with your booking or account number. Your refund clock starts the moment you send your written notice.
